·         THE MACHINE BASE

The Cutmax PT machine is designed for heavy duty machining of relatively long and heavy parts and is constructed of a stiff welded steel structure

·         THE CROSS SADDLE

横向床鞍

 

The table moves on linear guides from leading world-class suppliers that allow a rapid traverse of 25 m/min. These guides are made of hardened, ground steel, are highly wear resistant and mounted under pre-load thus providing the x-axis movement with inherent geometric accuracy.

·         THE LONGITUDINAL BASE

·         THE COLUMN

 

The column of the machine is made of a rigidly designed welded structure to provide good vibration damping and precision. The design provides high rigidity and excellent dynamic performance. The column provides the headstock vertical travel y-axis. The headstock counterweight is mechanical with two chains.

·         THE HEADSTOCK

主轴箱

 

The headstock is mounted to the column. The z axis moves longitudinally in the headstock, where a rotary encoder provides positional data.

The headstock is connected to an oil cooling equipment to provide thermal stability for the spindle system. The unit consists of a refrigeration cooler, heat exchanger with vaporizer, circulating pump and thermostatic control in order to keep the temperature in the spindle system constant.

主轴箱连接有油冷却设备,以提供主轴系统的恒温。该装置由冷却器,带风扇的热交换器,循环泵和恒温控制系统组成,以便保持主轴系统的连续稳定温度。

 

 

·         CNC ROTARY TABLE   (B-AXIS)

The built-in rotary table is an important productive feature of the machine. The table is mounted on the cross slider and runs on a large 1550 mm supporting diameter, centered with a
pre-loaded high precision roller bearing. An independent ROD 700 rotary scale mounted at the table center feeds back very precise actual table position data in 360 degrees with a programming resolution of 0.001 degree. The anti-backlash hardened worm and bronze worm wheel transmission allows accurate contouring feed control in the "B" axis. The table is clamped hydraulically.

·         AEROSTATIC WAYS for the ROTARY TABLE

Cutmax PT machines have aerostatic ways for the rotary table when the table load exceeds 12,5 tons.  In this anti-friction guideway system, clean, dry and filtered air is introduced into a preloaded gap between the stationary machine members and the slides. Properly selected slideway dimensions, air pressure and preload create a very stiff, virtually friction free interface.

Cutmax PT系列机床当工作台承重要求超过12.5吨时,则采用气浮导轨。在该抗摩擦导轨系统中,洁净,干燥和经过过滤的空气被导入到机床静止部件和床鞍间经过预留的间隙中。适当地选取滑轨尺寸,空气压力和预载荷可实现高刚性,无摩擦的滑动。

 

 

The machine is equipped with its own air supply which provides filtered and perfectly dray air pressure to the ways. This equipment requires a 6 bar air supply with a consumption  capacity of 0,8 m³/h. (to be provided by the customer).

·         MEASURING EQUIPMENT

Precise Heidenhain linear scales type LB 382C for x, y and w axes are provided as feedback system. The B axis is equiped with a Heidenhain rotary encoder with 18000imp/rot on the center of the table providing high measuring accuracy. The z axis uses the rotary encoder mounted on the motor as feed back system.

XYW 三轴的位置反馈由精密的海登汉线性光栅尺完成,光栅尺型号分别为LB382CB轴配备18000imp/rot海登汉旋转编码器,安装在同作态中心提供高精度位置反馈。Z轴安装在电机上的编码器提供位置反馈。

Linear guides are used in the axes x, y and w allowing a rapid traverse of 25 m/min. These guides are made of hardened steel, are highly wear resistant and mounted under pre-load thus providing the machine's inherent geometric accuracy.

·         THE WORKSPINDLE

工作主轴

 

The machine's workspindle runs in preloaded, play free, angular contact precision ball bearings and therefore maintains its accuracy over the long term. In order to assure correct placing of the tool holder into the spindle taper, the tool is clamped by using springs with interlocking assuring a perfect torque. Power is transmitted to the spindle from the 30 kW (40 HP) AC digital intelligent, frequency controlled motor through the gears of the headstock. The front and rear ball bearings are protected by temperature sensors in addiction of the headstock cooling system. Those sensors will detect any abnormal increase of the bearing temperature stoping the machine and avoiding injuries in the case of a failure.

The X , Y and W axes are protected with heavy duty steel telescopic covers against chips and coolant.

Lubrication of ways and ball nuts is controlled automatically by a timer integrated on the machine PLC software and can also be activated from a push button in the control panel or through M function on the CNC user program.

·         DOUBLE PALLET CHANGER

consists of a two load/unload stations in front of the machine bed where each pallet changing position will be on the travel limits of the x axis. The pallet stations are moved to the load/unload station by a hydraulic cilinder and the pallet load/unload is realized by a chain system with sensors, index positions and index pin.

The pallet, when loaded on the machine is indexed by two precise positioning pins and after positioned it is clamped by two “T” rails loaded with sets of pring plates.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

DELIVERY

 

The offered machine can be delivered in 8  months, ex-works WOTAN,.  Delays caused by changes in the  purchase order and any costs caused by such delays will be charged additionally.

在收到定单和定金后8个月内机床可发货出厂。由于定单变更和付费延迟所造成的机床交货延误,将收取额外费用。

 

PRICE BASIS

 

The prices quoted are valid as of June 9th , 2004 and are CIF port of entry.  Inland transport, unloading of the machine and rigging costs onto your site are for your account and risk.

 

Any local taxes such as sales taxes, etc., are not included in our prices and will be charged separately if required.

 

The prices quoted are firm for 30 days from the date of this quotation.

 

 

PAYMENT TERMS

 

According to Agreement.

 

 

WARRANTY

 

The warranty of machine, numerical control and accessories is valid during a period of 12 (twelve) months with one working-shift, counting as off the final test at your plant.

 

WOTAN Máquinas Ltda assumes responsibility - inside the warranty period - for defects of material or fabrication, with the respective correction, free of charge to the customer. However, WOTAN will not be held responsible for defects incurred due to incorrect operation by the customer, without previous written authorization. Work performed by anyone other than Wotan service personnel voids the warranty.

 

This warranty does not include components subject of wear out, such as: relays, sensors, batteries, electric fuses, lamps, belts, roller bearings and alike.

 

Note:    The above warranty is only valid when following conditions will be considered:

 

·         Variations of tension (oscillation) must not exceed ± 5% (without peak power). If this condition cannot be guaranteed, installation of a voltage stabilizer will be necessary.

·         Dropping of tension not superior than 20 milisec.


 

 

 

·         Environmental conditions should be normal (without sea-smell and without ambient aggressiveness, etc.)

·         Limit of temperature up to maximum 45°C.

 

 

PRE-ACCEPTANCE AT OUR FACTORY

 

Should you wish to witness acceptance tests in our works please advise us of this at least 4 weeks before the quoted delivery.

 

 

 

MACHINE INSTALLATION

 

After you have unloaded the machine, brought it to its intended operating location, unpacked and cleaned it, please advise us so we can dispatch our field engineer.  We will provide you with certified foundation plans within 60 days after receipt of your order or sooner in the case of stock machines.

 

Our field service engineer will supervise the erection of the machine with help from your plant personnel (cranes, forklifts, etc.).  He will check all geometric alignments and operational features so that the machine can be accepted and placed in operation. 

 

The days required for this work are included in the price of the machine.  Should you request additional service this should be specified in the purchase order and will be billed separately. 

 

N.B.  The machine connection to the main electricity supply must only be carried out in the presence of our service engineer.

 

 

TRAINING

 

Machine Operator.
We have included in our price 3 days of operator training on site.

 

Maintenance.
Our service engineer will instruct your plant service personnel regarding preventive maintenance during installation of the machine.

 

Application
An applications engineer will provide 5 days of programming and operator training for the CNC control
